A very brief history of PayStream
That was then...
We started out over 30 years ago as a traditional firm of accountants offering a full range of services to small to medium sized enterprises. But by 2002, all that had changed. An increasing number of our clients were contractors and we chose to make taking care of their needs our core business. And we've never looked back.

Over the last decade our customer base and our reputation has grown considerably. We have already worked with over 500 agencies this year and we're proud to say that over 90% of contractors using our services say they'd refer us to a friend.

We're serious about corporate social responsibility
For us, a social conscience isn't simply a box-ticking exercise, but something we like to encourage our staff to embrace as individuals and lead by example.
So as well as getting the basics right - like recycling every day and promoting a paperless environment - we also proudly support our staff who regularly take part in events like fun runs and bike rides to aid their charity of choice.
We've also set up a special committee to organise fundraising activities for the Anthony Nolan Trust, our dedicated charity which provides bone marrow and stem cell transplants for cancer patients.
Employee rights are a major priority of ours too - which is perhaps unsurprising given our line of work. Each of our staff, including our umbrella company employees benefit from a robust employment contract developed with our expert legal advisors, with full statutory entitlement to holidays, sick pay and parental leave under the protection of laws like the Agency Workers Regulations. And when it comes to helping others find work, we often volunteer at local schools to give students practice and guidance for that all-important job interview.
