Stacey originally joined PayStream as a Client Relationship Manager (CRM) back in 2019. With a passion for supporting her agency clients, she’s since progressed to Regional Sales Manager. We wanted to find out a little bit more about both Stacey and her rise through the PayStream ranks.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and what brought you to PayStream?

Before PayStream I worked in investment property for 8 years. I was looking for a change in career and a friend of mine worked at PayStream. They told me they were looking to expand the sales team and I thought it could be the perfect opportunity for me. Being new to the industry, I was a little nervous but also excited about working for a company committed to providing such excellent customer service.

2. What is a typical day at PayStream like?

I’m going to say the usual “no two days are ever the same”, but it is true! I look after an account management team of (CRMs) at our head office, so things can vary greatly from day-to-day! My role covers a variety of areas from making sure my team are supported through to providing training in order to help them achieve their goals as well as progressing their careers. I also ensure a high level of customer service is provided to our agency clients by myself and team.

3. How does PayStream compare to your previous workplaces?

Believe it or not, PayStream is only the second job I have ever had! However, it is my favourite company I’ve worked at. Not only have PayStream created an enjoyable place to work for everyone, with the internal culture but there are also great career progression opportunities.

4. What three words would you use to describe PayStream?

Adaptable, supportive, friendly.

5. What do you enjoy most about working at PayStream?

It’s got to be the people. I’m very fortunate to work with such a great team who are all committed to the same goals and all extremely passionate about what they do. This definitely stems from PayStream itself, the company has created such a great atmosphere for its staff and places great emphasis on empowering us all to be the best we can be.

6. What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I was caught in the middle of one of the biggest cyclones to ever hit Australia, cyclone Yasi! It’s safe to say that was a memorable holiday.

7. What are your favourite things to do outside of work?

I love to go on holiday and see new places and I’m a keen skier. I also love spending time with my friends and family and I am a huge F1 fan. Last year, I was lucky enough to go to Silverstone for the race, I loved it so much I got tickets for this year too – so I’m counting down the days to July when I can go again, come on Lewis!
