At PayStream we have always welcomed new initiatives seeking to separate the compliant providers from the non-compliant ones. So, when we heard that APSCo were revisiting their affiliate partnership program and introducing a new Trusted Partner status, we were obviously keen to be part of it.
On Thursday 4th November we did what no other provider has done before and scooped a trio of awards at The Contracting Awards 2020. Not only did we retain the Best Contractor Accountant award for the second year running, but we also walked away with Best Umbrella Company and Best Contractor Innovation for our IR35 Comply service.

At PayStream, we have roughly 20 team members working within our payroll department, from trainees right up to well established and experienced Payroll Seniors. They have already announced their plans to bring furlough to a close as they are keen to get the economy restarted.
When the Government introduced the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) the country breathed a sigh of relief. However it was short lived for our umbrella employees because once we had all digested the guidance, it was clear that the Government hadn’t fully considered the way in which an umbrella employee works, and more specifically how the definition of regular salary should be interpreted for such an employee.
