The compliance team take to the slopes

At the start of October the PayStream Compliance team had a day out at Chill Factore in Manchester. We all had a brilliant time, I can’t recommend the place enough! We all had so much fun. The day began by getting suited and booted preparing for the cold and snow ahead of us with nerves peaking for a number of us, once we were on the slopes however it was all downhill from there... literally!

Our skiing instructor was great! He taught us all the dos and don’ts for snowboarding and I am proud to say we all managed to master the basics of the sport. He challenged us to doing ‘head, shoulders, knees and toes’ whilst going downhill which was very funny and it was tricky at times to stay upright. We were very impressed with our Compliance Manager Dave for managing to do this considering he's over 6 feet tall!

The snow park was a highlight of the day - there was snow much fun to be had, the sledging, doughnuts, and bobsleigh slide brought the inner child in all of us alive. One of our IR35 Advisors, Caoimhin, thoroughly enjoyed the bobsleigh and his laugh could be heard echoing back up the slide even when he was at the bottom. It has to be said that the day was very enjoyable and personally I will be going for more lessons in the near future!
