Meet the team | PayStream

Andrew is a chartered accountant who started his career at Ernst & Young before joining PayStream over 18 years ago. As our CEO he oversees our everyday running and strategic direction. Outside of work Andrew is a keen running enthusiast with a 5k time of just 16 and a half minutes.

With over 15 years’ industry experience, Tony has worked his way up the PayStream ranks after having started in our New Business team in 2009. His vast experience has given him a unique perspective on our business and helped develop a well-rounded skillset for his role as COO. Tony’s also a keen golfer and when he’s not taking in a round of golf he enjoys spending time with his daughter.

Jayne is a chartered accountant and has been a member of the PayStream team for over 15 years. As Chief Financial Officer, Jayne is responsible for the legal functions across the PayStream group whilst  also keeping a keen eye on PayStream’s finances by looking after the company management and financial accounting. Outside of work, Jayne puts her finance background to good use as she’s the treasurer for several charities including her local scout association. 

Sally leads our business projects and ensures our systems and processes are always ready for the next big change. When she isn't planning her next holiday, Sally enjoys learning new skills and is studying project and process management. As an accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals, Sally has an Advanced Diploma in Payroll Management and a BA (hons) degree in Business Management. As a keen runner she enjoys park runs, training with her running club and always has a couple of races lined up.

Alex is responsible for everything to do with I.T. at PayStream, from Infrastructure to Software Development and anything in-between. After gaining a degree in Neuroscience, Alex has spent the last 20 years fine-tuning his tech & innovation skills in a wide range of businesses including software, tech start-ups and construction.

Clare is the driving force behind our people strategy, championing a culture where individuals thrive and teams succeed. Since joining PayStream in 2015, she's been key in shaping a workplace that prioritises growth, wellbeing, and opportunity. Passionate about building a truly great workplace, Clare's helped to make PayStream a supportive, and inspiring workplace, leading to a place in Great Place to Work's top 100 Best Large workplaces. Outside of work, she brings the same sense of adventure to her travels, having taken on bucket-list challenges from the Himalayas to Mount Fuji.

Alison heads up our Legal and Regulatory Compliance teams, advising on best practices and ethical compliance. She has amassed nearly two decades worth of industry experience, starting out in her early 20s carrying out IR35 reviews for limited company contractors. In this time, she has been vital in navigating us through key legislation changes and informing our policies, controls and procedures. Outside of work, Alison loves spending time with friends and family and enjoys keeping fit.

Kerry is our in-house marketing guru, her self-professed 'calling' ever since her first marketing job in finance. Almost two decades and a couple of CIM qualifications later, Kerry is now an Associate member of the CIM and takes care of all our marketing. And when she's not at the gym or topping up on the latest marketing trends and techniques, she's a sucker for a bit of car crash TV.

Carla oversees our software development teams, working to ensure consistent quality, best performance and innovation across all of our software solutions. Away from work, you’ll find Carla planning her next trip abroad or catching up on her favourite podcasts.

Remy heads up our umbrella operations, and with over a decade of industry experience to draw on, he ensures our umbrella employees receive the high levels of service we’re renowned for. When he’s not busy at work, you’ll find him binge-watching box sets or signing up for his next Ironman triathlon.

As a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with 14 years’ industry experience, Arif oversees our Accountancy and Tax operations, making sure everything runs smoothly for our clients. Outside of work, you’ll usually find him spending time with his family, or convincing himself it’s finally time for a trip to the gym.
