We have been preparing for the tax year end which is a critical time for a provider as one of our key tasks is to work with our contractors and ensure that they are up to date in their tax affairs as the 5th April looms. This is doubly important this time around as the new tax year brings with it the challenges of RTI and Pensions.
As we all know the Chancellor announced his latest Budget this month - broadly a neutral Budget with little immediate impact for contractors, which is probably as good as we could have hoped for in the current financial climate. An increase in the tax threshold to £10,000 in April next year is helpful although the higher rate threshold decreases to £41,865 which effectively negates any benefit for those earning over £41,865.
This month we have been collating the feedback from customer surveys which are an invaluable mechanism to understand what our customers value and feed this in to our continuous improvement processes. And, as we prepare for the new tax year, we have added our seventh Client Relationship Manager Andy Burton who is profiled here.
As always we're busy making our customers lives easier - an apt quote which captures how our customer service continues to improve as we get bigger is strangely enough from Lucille Ball 'If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The more things you do, the more you can do'.
