These are just a few of the benefits which can be provided by an employer without creating a taxable benefit in the hands of their employees:

  • Free or subsidised meals on the employer's premises or canteen
  • Pension contributions
  • Health screening and medical check ups
  • Places in nurseries or playschemes made available by the employer
  • Work-related employer funded or reimbursed training
  • Long service awards
  • Awards made under Suggestion Schemes
  • Provision of car parking facilities

As usual there are conditions to be met but the reward may justify the effort of checking your eligibility!
