It's been a busy few months at PayStream with some big changes in legislation. As you will probably be aware the new rules around T&S came into play on the 6th April.

The great news for our contractors is that even without tax relief on your travel and subsistence expenses, there are still many benefits in our umbrella service.

Firstly, our My Max umbrella service balances the benefits of continuous employment, with all the advantages of being a contractor, which means contractors can secure a mortgage or loan more easily, manage one pension pot, are entitled to holiday pay and can gain access to statutory benefits such as statutory maternity pay and statutory sick pay.

You can also get access to our employee rewards scheme. This includes gaining access to a whole host of benefits from discounts with over 2000 high street brands and well known restaurant chains to exclusive mortgage deals and medical insurance.

We have seen increased interest in our PSC service, which is an accountancy service for limited company contractors. As the more tax efficient option many of you will find working as a limited company your preferred option, however not everyone can work in this way so we will carry out a thorough assessment of your individual circumstances before advising on the service we feel is most appropriate for you.

With My PSC, PayStream's dedicated team of experts are perfect in providing help with all of your company admin, providing advice on your company's tax and accounting requirements whilst also providing support with industry legislation including IR35.

As ever, PayStream offer a full suite of services for contractors and tailored advice to help you find the right solution for you.
