Get Adobe Flash player IT contractors after work should look towards London and the south east, where there is something of a shortage in their number.

This is according to SQ Computer Personnel, who report that the sheer amount of new positions being created is actually outstripping the availability of contractors to fill them.

Bernie Potton, the recruitment firm's founder, says Java and .NET specialists top the wish lists of many firms, although there is also an acute need for more business analysts and applications support contractors.

He points out there are a number of reasons for the demand, including an increase in budgets and altered regulations.

On top of this, "business stakeholders are also demanding delivery for internal projects," he adds. This has led to a greater need for contractors to fill relationship manager and delivery management roles.ADNFCR-3319-ID-19914288-ADNFCR
